Pam’s Promise Transitional Housing Corporation is a non-profit transitional housing program offering a variety of support services for Montgomery County homeless women and their children with a goal of helping clients become self-sufficient within three to six months.
Pam’s Promise is not an emergency shelter and most clients are referred to us from other community agencies. There is an application process and specific criteria that must be met to qualify for this program.
Each client is in a different place and has different needs so we try to tailor services to help each client be successful once out on their own again. Services offered may include:
We rely on many community partners and volunteers to deliver these services. Let us know if you would like to help.
Our clients come from many backgrounds and situations but they all need a caring helping hand to get back to a stable place in life.
"We at Pam’s Promise, want to be the agents of change offering opportunity for a safe, healthy place to live and access to programs that help people facing hard times to get on their feet." - LeAnnie Johnson, Executive Director
There are many ways that you can help:
"If you think you are too small to make a difference, try sleeping with a mosquito.” Dalai Lama
"None of us can help everyone. But all of us can help someone."
Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or if you wish to volunteer or support Pam's Promise in any way.
